Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there.

I didn’t spend any time out in the back garden today since I have a few blisters from what I did the other day. Instead I used old quilting scraps to make two small cat quilts that are almost done – need to put on the bindings. The first one is finished and the second is ready to receive its binding. As you can see Ms. Trouble seems to like the new quilt and the new cat basket that Dearest got when he won all those vedgies.

I also took the scrap crazy quilt pieces out of their box and pinned them up – cats like to knock them off if I don’t pin them. Looks pretty funky and there are not enough done to do anything with so they will go back in the box and more will slowly get added to the pile.

My cats are the same - I had a one-block-wonder quilt on my design
wall(flannelbacked tablecloth) and they discovered that if they shook the bottom, pieces fell. The first day it was only a couple. The next day I woke up to find 75% of the pieces on the floor! LOL
luckily I had taken a photo of it

Sounds like our cats are all cut from the same mold. Do yours also rearranged quilt blocks? Mine do. They seem to have some sort of aesthetic sense. LOL!
