Colorful Friday Five

1. What is your favorite color? I like practically all colors, and the answer to this tends to vary according to when you ask me, but I have been very drawn to green lately. So let's go with green.
2. What is your less favorite color? Beige.
3. What is you favorite color combo?  I love blue and green.
4. What is your less favorite color combo? I'm sorry to have to say this, but I loathe red, white and blue unless you vary the colors somewhat.
5. Show us a picture of your favorite colorful quilt (yours or someone's else):
Well, this has to be one of them:
Dreaming in Color - Living in Stone Cold Black and White
Made by Sonia Brown, who I think may have a book out with this in it.

Wow! [jawdrop] That is one very doodie, colourful quilt! Some clever colour work in the changes for extra 'zing'.

Re#5. What is it about that combination that gives you 'the Grinch' feeling? [grins] (And I loathe you!)

You probably won't like the quilt I'm hand quilting to a finish at the moment, then. It's red/ivory/chambray/navy and made from a Moda Jelly roll. :)

No, see, if you're using chambray then you are varying the colors already - it's the ones that have exactly the colors of the flag that I get annoyed about. I've just seen so many of them.

(I think I overstated my position a bit, perhaps. :) For a long time it seemed really politically incorrect to criticize anything that was red, white and blue.)

Ah, right. I get you. Yes, I see how that could get a bit 'same old, same old'. I confess you don't see many red/white/blue anything in the UK, where I am, but over here it's almost politically incorrect to be patriotic about one's country. Or so it seems to me.

Anyway, it was just that my curiosity got the better of me! :)
